Nardon Pénicaud (Limoges. Vers 1470-1542) (d’après). Triptych. The central panel depicts Christ in pain, wearing his tunic and three playing dice on his knees, surrounded by the Virgin and Saint John. The two side panels each representing an evangelist. Enamel painting on copper. Black and regular counter-enamel. Copies most probably made by the Samson workshops in Paris in the last quarter of the 19th century. From an original at the time in the collection of F. Spitzer and preserved today at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore (USA). Dimensions: one panel of 13 x 12 cm and the other two of 13 x 5,5 cm. Presented in an architectural frame. Dimensions : 38,5 x 26 cm.
